more fabulous finishing!

i picked up some long lost friends back from the finisher this weekend! it's true that a project is never really complete until it comes back from the finisher, it makes all the difference!

this was a fun, quick project. i received the kit as a gift last christmas and couldn't wait to start! diana's stitch guides are so easy to read and fun to follow!

last but not least, this beautiful fort worth round by kathy schenkel.

  1. Glad your man is back. I'm still waiting to get back in my routine. One off to college, but one more week of summer with baby brother.
All the finishing looks so cute. I love Diana's stuff. I wonder where they will go now that Petei is shutting down. Can't wait to find out. Have a good week.

    1. We will have to support each other. I felt myself weakening just yesterday as I looked through the Melissa Shirley trunk show at Chaparral. I was strong and resisted. It's weird how I feel reenergized after making this commitment. Or is that my new vitamins???

  5. Your ornaments look fantastic! I especially like the SigEp one. My daddy was a member of the Mother Alpha chapter at our alma mater, University of Richmond. I bought several ornament canvases this year but haven't been motivated to stitch them. One reason is that it's so dang expensive to get them finished up here! But I have to have the mindset that they are something I'll have forever.

    1. i live by that mindset as well! i also cut back in other areas like shopping and pedicures so i can have my canvases finished. we also don't have any babies (just our fur baby) so i'm trying to live it up until then! apparently babies are somewhat expensive?
