tomorrow is my weekend trip to my lns for threads and beads and i can't wait! i worked a little more on me lady, adding the petite very velvet for her "nutcracker" mouth.
i love how dainty and ladylike she looks. it's such a different experience from stitching the dude with all the manly facial hair. i also auditioned some stitches for the bustle of her dress.
i knew i wanted to do something diagonal to accentuate the shape of the dress. i'm going to finish the right side and see how i feel. i like the movement it shows, so we'll see what the weekend brings!
a different angle.
my stitching buddy. clearly she's enthralled. how can that be comfortable?!?
I love the stitch choice.
ReplyDeleteGreat stitch choice for the dress.

We lost our 15 year old blue merle Aussie a little over a year ago. Marley used to sit just like your Cricket and watch me stitch. Your picture brought back great memories (and a few tears). Your stitching is beautiful. Thanks for sharing stitching and pupper pictures.
